ONLY YULE - Christmas Album
 

The Flying Pickets present their latest album especially for Christmas. Just over 25 years ago The Flying Picket’s first hit ‘Only You’ went to No.1 in the UK and was a huge hit all over the world. Now The Flying Pickets; Andrea Figallo, Simon Foster, Andy Laycock, Mike Henry and Damion Scarcella have re-released this epic hit, along with some new and some old favourite Christmas songs.

In August this last year The Flying Pickets flew to sunny California and in the summer heat at Bill Hare’s world famous studio they put on their Christmas hats, decorated the studio with snowmen and drank mulled wine to bring you their best Christmas album ever. ‘ONLY YULE'.

The internationally respected and acapella specialist Bill Hare produced "Only Yule" bringing twelve incredible songs to life.

‘ONLY YULE’ introduces two new songs from bass singer Andrea Figallo. "Shine" and "Christmas Lullaby". "Christmas Present" written by Andy Laycock as well as Andy’s new arrangement of "Frosty The Snowman". Mike Henry's new composition "A Very Good King" and Simon Foster goes the extra "2000 Miles".

In "Shine" Andrea Figallo creates a gentle Christmas ballad to drift you into dreams of Christmas past and present.

With "Christmas Lullaby" Andrea Figallo transports you to a winter wonderland of hope, birth and expectation.

For "Christmas Present" Andy Laycock shares his letter to Father Christmas. There’s more to Christmas than presents, but we all still love them!

With "A Very Good King" Mike Henry brings a funky new composition to this traditional story.

In "2000 Miles" Simon Foster (with his fellow Pickets) really did travel two thousand miles to revisit this Pretenders classic, reworked in the unique Pickets style.
